Facilities Manager (m/f), Salem in Salem, Tamil Nadu
Your tasks:
- Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity
- Collaborates with Finance and Marketing to help design safe, operationally efficient and customer friendly new stores and remodels that maximize sales and profits
- Identification & qualification of suppliers/vendors/contractors, negotiation of bids, as well as contracting and ultimately monitoring vendor work performance
- Developing and maintaining schedules of work and forecasts for completion dates as well as costs vs. budgets
- Serves as liaison with local, state, and governmental safety and inspection oversight agencies
- Work with store construction and design teams to identify facility related needs at new/remodeling locations
- Oversee the development and management of the capital and operating expense budgets
- Development of scope of work, cost analyses and budget projections necessary to maintain company's assets in accordance with acceptable standards
- Maintain and ensure facility compliance with safety and environmental agencies
- Oversee the scheduling, maintenance, and monitoring of all heating, ventilating, air conditioning, water, electric, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other systems to ensure efficient operation
- Competitively bid, coordinate and schedule yearly service contracts and maintenance agreements
Your skills:
- Minimum 10 years facility management experience, experience in retail/restaurant industry required
- Must have new retail store construction and facility planning experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems required
- A strong working knowledge of facility programming, and the planning, design, permitting, and construction process
- Superintendent experience a plus
